Filtration structure of wire wound filter element

Another feature of the wire wound filter element is that it can pass a large flow. The wire-wound filter element of each filtration precision has a fixed number of channels D. After the filtration precision is determined, the number of channels L will increase or decrease according to the length of the filter element. The formula for the total number of channels is: total number of channels u003d D×L×2. Taking a filter element with a length of 250 mm as an example, its filtration precision is 20 m, the number of channels on its diameter is 15, and the number of channels along the longitudinal direction of the filter element is 51, so the total number of channels of the filter element is 15×51× 2 u003d 1530, i.e. there are 1530 individual channels on this cartridge. If the filtration flow rate is 0.5m³/h (take clean water as an example), that is, 8.3 L/min, the liquid is dispersed into 1530 independent channels for filtration, and the flow rate in each channel has actually dropped to 5.4 mL/min. The size of the innermost diamond-shaped hole of the filter element is the key to determining the accuracy of the filter element. The smaller the diamond-shaped hole is, the higher the precision of the filter element is; the larger the diamond-shaped hole is, the lower the precision of the filter element is. Regular filter element manufacturers have a specific comparison table of filter element precision and the number of diamond-shaped holes, and different channel numbers represent different filter element precisions. Typically, the 8-channel resolution is 100 m, the 15-channel resolution is 20 m, and the 19-channel resolution is 10 m. When making the wire-wound filter element, the special roving with fluff is cross-wound on the porous skeleton, and is wound layer by layer to the required specified diameter. The roving is continuously cross-wound on the skeleton, forming a filter layer containing thousands of diamond-shaped holes. The diamond-shaped holes on the filter layer near the skeleton on the filter element are small. The farther out, the larger the diamond-shaped holes, the largest diamond-shaped holes in the outer layer, and the channels are formed when the diamond-shaped holes penetrate inside and outside. In order to increase the flow of liquid in the filter element, the diamond-shaped hole channels are curved and scattered, but the diamond-shaped holes in each layer are still connected.
