Atmospheric non thermal plasma has been acknowledged as the processing waste gas and waste gas to reduce pollutants, purify air and the success of the odor removal tool, in order to improve the efficiency of the plasma cleaning process, using the plasma and the hydraulic filter and/or the combination of the catalyst. Surface, the plasma and the basic interaction mechanism of the gas is still a further study on the subject of detail, surface barrier discharge are studied by FTIR quantitative for the influence of ethanol on the activated carbon adsorption and desorption. First of all, without operation under the condition of plasma, with different input concentration and different carrier gas flow had been used to characterize the adsorption and desorption of plasma and the interaction of gas mixture were analyzed, install the activated carbon filter, after plasma level plasma combustion was studied when loading and unloading of the activated carbon filter element. Results show that because of the long life of O3 and physical adsorption of C2H5OH interaction, plasma phase caused by ethanol of extra decomposition in the surface of activated carbon, the filtered C2H5OH total amount, but not rinse C2H5OH decomposed part of the increase, the surface plasma resonance effect caused by gas equal to 68% of the plasma effect.
