How to change the filter element of the water purifier

The following is about the operation of changing the filter element of the water purifier.

1. Tools: filter element, Phillips screwdriver or slotted screwdriver, pliers.

2. Turn off the power of the water purifier to prevent electric shocks during installation.

3. Close the three-way valve of the water purifier. Do not open the filter cover directly. Turn off the water source before operating.

4. Open the cover of the filter element. Generally, the cover of the filter element is in rotating mode, and rotate in the correct direction according to the label.

5. Take out the old filter element from the water purifier, and then rinse the inside of the water purifier.

6. After the new filter element is installed, close the filter element cover and open the valve to test. After 10 minutes, there is no problem or no abnormal sound.

How to replace the water purifier filter element

Method/Step 1:

Before replacement, first close the electroplating ball valve, press the flush button and wait for about ten minutes to let the system automatically reduce the pressure.

Method/Step 2:

Unscrew the nut joint on the right side of the membrane shell by hand or a tool, and pull out the water pipe.

Method/Step 3:

Close the ball valve of the pressure bucket, unscrew the nut joint above it with your hand or a tool, and introduce the water pipe into an empty bucket or washing tank.

Method/Step 4:

Hold the reverse osmosis membrane tube tightly with your hands, then clamp the old reverse osmosis membrane with pliers (or special tools), and pull it out of the membrane shell.

Method/Step 5:

Open the cover of the new reverse osmosis membrane and take it out.

Method/Step 6:

Insert the newly opened reverse osmosis membrane into the reverse osmosis membrane tube until the end with two small black 'O' rings reaches the bottom of the membrane shell.

Method/Step 7:

Tighten the membrane shell cover in the opposite direction of turning the membrane shell cover.

Method/Step 8:

Insert the water pipe and tighten the joint nut. (Remember not to forget to put the pipe plug, except for the quick-connect connector).

Method/Step 9:

Open the electroplating ball valve. Let the machine run for more than two hours to make the system enter the normal state of producing water, then connect the water pipe to the pressure bucket ball valve and open the pressure bucket ball valve.

Precautions

Water usually overflows during the replacement process, so prepare cleaning utensils such as a basin or towel.
