    PP melt blown filter cartridge (often referred to as PP cotton filter cartridge) is a tubular filter cartridge made of non-toxic and odorless food grade polypropylene particles, which are heated and melted, and manufactured through additional processes such as forming. This filter cartridge does not use any chemical adhesives in the production process and relies entirely on the thermal bonding characteristics of polypropylene fibers to form, making it more in line with the high-quality requirements of hygiene and safety.

    Its uniqueness lies in the adoption of a deep filtration structure, where the fibers present an irregular porous network structure and have a progressive density structure (also known as gradient filtration) where the pores between the fibers gradually decrease from large to small from the outside to the inside! This design allows the filter element to accommodate larger particles and impurities on the outer layer, preventing rapid congestion, while the inner layer can block small particles, ensure filtration accuracy, reduce filtration resistance, and extend service life;

    - Replacement cycle assessment: Typically, manufacturers recommend a replacement cycle of 3-6 months, but the actual cycle needs to be adjusted based on water usage, water quality, and water pressure. The most scientific judgment method is based on the inlet and outlet pressure difference. When the pressure difference is greater than 0.1-0.2 MPa, the filter element should be cleaned or replaced;

    -Cleaning ability: Can test reverse flushing and clean the outer wall of the filter element with clean water under a pressure of less than 0.2MPa. However, it should be noted that frequent cleaning has limited effectiveness. PP melt blown filter cartridges are mainly designed for particle filtration, and their performance deteriorates significantly after dirt absorption. Therefore, direct replacement is usually recommended instead of cleaning.

    - Shutdown adjustment: When the filter element is not running, it can be stored in the filter housing and filled with clean water or antibacterial water. When reusing, it needs to be thoroughly cleaned.
